According to him, Turgay has been being held in Armenia’s Bagratashen customs checkpoint for two days now.
“We have learned that after investigating Turgay’s documents and place of residence the Armenians took him to a customs checkpoint close to Sadakhly to hand him over to Georgia. They told us the foreign and interior ministries of Georgia are investigating the matter and negotiating. Tugay told us on the phone he would be brought to the border,” he said.
Bayramov added that the relatives have appealed to the Georgian Foreign Ministry and Armenia’s embassy in this country.
“The Dmanisi district security service has recently received a call from Armenia and they were asking for detailed information about Turgay,” said Mahammad Bayramov.
