As a result of preventive control measures carried out in Azerbaijan's liberated lands, a large number of ammunition was detected in the military positions left by the Armenian side in the Khojavend district, AzVision.az reports the Interior Ministry's Press Service.
The employees of the Khojavend District Police Department seized 28 more shrapnel and 2 tank shells in Mammaddara village of the district and handed them over to the relevant authorities.
The police and relevant agencies continue taking intensive measures to clear the liberated areas of mines and other explosive devices, and to detect and hand over the weapons thrown by the Armenian side.
