Tehran says ties with Baku will develop on basis of mutual respect

Iran and Azerbaijan are two neighboring Muslim countries with much in common, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian tweeted, AzVision.az reports.

Amirabdollahian said he recently held a frank and constructive phone conversation with his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov.

The Iranian minister stressed that relations between the two states and the two peoples will develop on the basis of mutual respect.
