"COVID-19 puts pressure on healthcare systems. For every 100 people in high-income countries, 133 doses of have been administered, while in low-income countries, only 4 doses per 100 people have been administered. It is difficult to control the pandemic in such situation and we will face with the waves of the pandemic," First Deputy Minister of Health, Acting Minister of Health Teymur Musayev said at the panel on the topic "Health and Vaccination of People" within the framework of the VIII Global Baku Forum titled "The World after COVID-19".
"Vaccination process has started since January 18 in Azerbaijan. The target population - 60% has already been vaccinated with the second dose. All statistics are transparent. We analyze the number of vaccinated people, infections and recoveries and make them public."
