Leyla Abdullayeva, head of the press service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, commented on the statement of the Armenian Foreign Ministry on the incident near Shusha on November 8, AzVision.az reports.
Leyla Abdullayeva stated that the Armenian Foreign Ministry has no political, legal or moral basis to make any statements regarding the territories of Azerbaijan.
"That incident is the outcome of another provocation by the Armenian side. According to the statements of the Armenian side, as if on November 8, those people allegedly repaired the water line near the Khankendi-Shusha road", Abdullayeva noted.
"We would like to note that Russian peacekeepers are usually informed about any activity that needs to be done in these areas and they are accompanied by peacekeepers. This time, the Russian peacekeepers were not informed and did not participate in the process. This, of course, raises serious questions", she added.
