Armenia should not count on help of Moscow and CSTO

Yerevan should not count on the support of Moscow and the CSTO in terms of the situation on the border with Azerbaijan and in the territories where Russian peacekeepers deployed said Russian expert on international conflicts Yevgeny Mikhailov said in an interview with Eurasia Diary.

The Russian expert stated that Armenia's next calls to protect its territory evoked nothing but criticism.

"In the situation created by Yerevan itself, there is an attempt to put pressure on the CSTO, and this is not the first time. During the year, Yerevan and Prime Minister Pashinyan only prevented the implementation of the statements signed in November 2020. There is a possibility that Armenia will be completely lost as an ally, and on this regard, no one will enter into another military conflict over Yerevan," Yevgeny Mikhailov added.
