Pakistan and Azerbaijan works on preferential trade agreement, says Ambassador Khazar Farhadov

Pakistan and Azerbaijan are working on a preferential trade agreement that will reduce customs tariffs and increase bilateral trade, said Azerbaijani Ambassador to Pakistan Khazar Farhadov, AzVision.az reports.

Khazar Farhadov stated that Pakistani companies, particularly pharmaceutical companies, have a good capacityto build production facilities in Azerbaijan.

"Azerbaijan is creating a free economic zone (FEZ) near the Baku International Sea Trade Port. Pakistani investors can explore opportunities to invest in the FEZ and establish joint ventures," the ambassador added.
