The liberation of Karabakh from the Armenian occupation made everyone feel confident, said Laureate of Nobel Memorial Prize in Chemistry, Professor of the University of Northern Caroline of the US of Turkish origin Aziz Sanjar, said in his speech at a panel on "Science and Education in the Post-Pandemic Period" within the UNEC Economic Forum.
The scientist compared his last previous to the recent one saying that it is impossible to compare 2017 with current science as he did not meet any Azerbaijani scientists in his last visit.
"During my previous visit, everyone was thinking about the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. However, today, Karabakh was liberated from the Armenian occupation which has created confidence in everyone. Of course, I believe this liberation will also be significant for scientific work in Azerbaijan", he added
