Azur Air, North Wind and IrAero airlines have received permission to carry out flights to Azerbaijan, AzVision.az reports citing Rosaviation.
IrAero Airlines will perform flights Moscow-Fuzuli and Moscow-Zagatala, each to be performed twice a week. Azur Air will operate flights from four Russian cities (Samara, Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar, Kazan) to Baku, each twice a week.
Meanwhile, North Wind is permitted to perform the Sochi-Baku flight with a frequency of 7 times a week.
The Fuzuli International Airport, built in Azerbaijan’s liberated Fuzuli city, was inaugurated on Oct. 26 with the participation of the Azerbaijani and Turkish presidents. The Fuzuli International Airport was granted international status by the relevant decision of PM Ali Asadov.
The airport can accept aircraft of any type. Its runway is 3,000 long and 60 meters wide. Equipped with modern infrastructure, the airport terminal can handle at least 200 passengers per hour.
