World leaders congratulate Ilham Aliyev on his birthday - UPDATED

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of his birthday, AzVision.az reports.

"I am very pleased to convey to you my sincere congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of your 60th birthday. You have been duly recognized as a true leader, a statesman who has gained great prestige and trust in the international arena, who has made a valuable contribution to the development of his country and the well-being of its people", Uzbekistan's Shavkat Mirziyoyev said in his letter.

"I sincerely congratulate you on your 60th birthday. You once said: If you do not think about the future, it is very difficult to solve today's problems. Based on this principle, Azerbaijan has made significant achievements in the field of socio-economic development and has become a strong and influential state that firmly defends its interests at the international level", Lukashenko stated in his letter.

Turkmenistan's leader said: "You have dedicated your entire life to the protection of the interests of your land, the realization of national goals and programs. Such dedicated service to the people deserves high recognition. I would like to highlight your attention and comprehensive support for the development of strategic and good neighbourly ties between our countries, the strengthening of sincere friendship and brotherhood of our peoples".
