Moscow is holding dialogue among the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia to launch transport projects as soon as possible within the framework of the agreements reached in Sochi, said Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova at a briefing, AzVision.az reports.
"The initiatives announced after the Brussels meeting contribute to the development of the trilateral agreement of the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia signed on November 26, 2021. Their substantive discussion continues through a trilateral working group chaired by the deputy prime ministers," Zakharova stated.
She highlighted that this mechanism envisages a comprehensive unblocking of transport and economic ties in the South Caucasus, as well as the restoration of both rail and road transport in the region.
