As a result of the provocation launched by the Armenian armed forces on January 11 at noon, the situation in the direction of Azerbaijan’s Kalbajar direction along the state border between the two countries has become tense, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry told AzVision.az.
The ministry noted that the Azerbaijani Army Units are carrying out adequate response measures in order to suppress the provocation of the opposing side in this direction without the use of any aircraft or artillery.
Azerbaijani troops control the operational situation, the ministry added.
