Azerbaijan records growth in nominal GDP, minister says

Azerbaijan records growth in nominal GDP, minister says

Azerbaijan's nominal GDP grew in 2021, Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov wrote on Twitter, AzVision.az reports.

"This figure reached 93 billion manat ($54.7 billion), which is 11 billion manat ($6.4 billion) more than in 2019," the minister tweeted.

"Although the country's GDP decreased in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, last year this indicator not only recovered compared to 2019 but also increased," Jabbarov added.
