Turkish parliamentary commission approves Shusha Declaration

The bill, which includes the Shusha Declaration, will be discussed at the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM), AzVision.az reports citing the Turkish media.

The Parliamentary Commission on Foreign Affairs has already approved a bill containing a known historical declaration, which provides for the official raising of Turkish-Azerbaijani relations to the level of the alliance. The project was discussed at today's meeting of the commission.

Following the discussions, the Commission considered it reasonable to submit the document to the Turkish Parliament for approval of the Shusha Declaration.

Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Yavuz Selim Kiran also attended the meeting.
