Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Sunday spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin and told him he would like to continue contacts with Ukraine and other countries with respect to the situation in Ukraine.
"President Erdogan said that he is in regular contact with the Ukrainian side and other countries," according to a statement from the Turkish president’s office. "He also said that he would continue efforts to conduct extensive negotiations" about Ukraine, the statement said.
