The information spread in the Armenian media that the Azerbaijani army allegedly opened fire in the direction of the Pirler settlement of the Khojaly region is false and is provocative, AzVision.az reports with reference to Azerbaijani Defense Ministry.
"There are no real grounds for disseminating such provocative information about the activities of our army units," the ministry noted.
