Azerbaijan became one of the first countries included in the UN migration network, UN Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan Vladanka Andreeva said at an event dedicated to the results of 15 year-cooperation between the Azerbaijani State Migration Service and international partners for inclusive, progressive and improved migration management, AzVision.az reports.
Andreeva stressed the contribution of the Azerbaijani State Migration Service in this sphere.
The UN resident coordinator in Azerbaijan also added that the European community faces a migration crisis today, which all countries must deal with together.
