Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and France, Jeyhun Bayramov and Jean-Yves Le Drian had a telephone conversation, AzVision.az reports citing the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The ministers discussed the current situation in the region, including the implementation of the tripartite declarations.
During the conversation, the ministers touched upon the five basic principles presented by Azerbaijan. The French Minister expressed France's support for the efforts to normalize relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
The parties also exchanged views on the current situation around Ukraine.
During the telephone conversation, the ministers discussed topical issues on the bilateral agenda and other issues of mutual interest.
