Azerbaijan prepares to declare its liberated territories a zero-emission zone (ZEZ) until 2050, that's why we attach great importance to the implementation of environmental projects here, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Mukhtar Babayev told reporters in Shusha, AzVision.az reports.
The minister noted that the existing cooperation with the UN would expand in various areas.
"We have particularly developed programs regarding the environment, water sector, and other areas," Babayev said.
