Ukraine and Russia have announced that both sides could hold a high-level meeting in a week or two, said Turkish foreign minister on Thursday as Ankara leads efforts to end the ongoing war through diplomacy, AzVision.az reports citing Anadolu Agency.
Mevlut Cavusoglu told private news channel A Haber in an interview that Turkey would like to host the meeting at the level of foreign ministers or heads of state.
Touching on Turkey's potential role as guarantor state for a peace agreement between Ukraine and Russia, he said that taking up this role does not mean entering the war.
