Control over Farrukh height saves Khacinchay river from Armenian threat - PHOTOS

One of the main reasons for the "clarification of the position" carried out by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces on March 24 in the direction of Farrukh village and the strategic height of the Khojaly district was to save the Khachinchay channel from Armenian terrorists and guarantee the security of the Khachin reservoir.

The Khachinchay reservoir, which was commissioned in 1964, was left unrepaired and without maintenance during the Armenian occupation, making the sluice gates and other mechanisms unusable. The asphalt road over the 44-meter dam was completely destroyed by heavy machinery.
