The meeting was also attended by US State Department Chief Adviser on Caucasus Negotiations Andrew Schofer.
The US official expressed gratitude to the Azerbaijani side for the hospitality shown during the meeting of its country's ambassadors to the region in Baku.
The parties exchanged views on the development of bilateral relations between the countries, the current situation in the region, and the steps taken to normalize relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov spoke about the steps taken to normalize relations between the two countries at the post-conflict stage, including the development of a future peace treaty, border delimitation, unblocking of all communication lines in the region, and confidence-building measures.
The importance of implementing the agreements reached between the parties to ensure sustainable peace and security in the region, as well as Azerbaijan's readiness to move forward in all designated areas, was emphasized.
The meeting also discussed the situation in Ukraine and other regional issues of mutual interest.
