"There is a high probability of signing a peace deal between Azerbaijan and Armenia," British political scientist of Ukrainian origin, professor of political sciences at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy Taras Kuzio told AzVision.az.
He said that the document can be signed through mediation of the European Union: "Recently Brussels has become active in the normalization of the relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. I think that it is possible to reach reconciliation between the sides via mediation efforts of Europe."
Besides, political scientist expressed his confidence that Armenia will benefit from signing of peace agreeent with Azerbaijan. "The issue is about opening of communications in the region. It will create new opportunities for Armenia to cooperate not only with Azerbaijan, but also with Turkey," Kuzio also added.
