We are friends, brothers, and official allies, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said on May 14 speaking at the opening ceremony of the Rize-Artvin Airport in Turkey, AzVision.az reports.
“The signing of the Joint Declaration between Turkey and Azerbaijan in our ancient and historical city of Shusha last year raised our relations to the level of an alliance. We are friends, brothers and official allies. This policy is the legacy of our ancestors. It is a testament of our ancestors, and we are faithful to this testament,” the head of state emphasized.
