"Over the past three decades, there has been an upward trend in cooperation between our countries. I am glad that the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Azerbaijan intend to further intensify bilateral cooperation in many areas, including trade, investment, energy, agriculture and culture," the Moldovan president said.
"I would also like to thank you for your assistance in combating the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and for your humanitarian support in providing medical assistance to refugees from Ukraine," President Sandu added.
