“During the mine-clearing operations in Tartar, Aghdam, Khojavand, Fuzuli, Shusha, Gubadli, Jabrayil and Zangilan districts 546 anti-personnel and 279 anti-tank mines, as well as 1,021 unexploded ordnances (UXOs) were found and neutralized from May 1 to 31,” Azerbaijan’s Mine Action Agency said in a statement.
“As a result, 2098,8 hectares have been cleared of mines and UXOs,” the agency added.
