Almost 94 per cent of electricity in Azerbaijan is produced from natural gas and therefore an increase in the share of "green" energy will lead to the gas savings, Deputy Minister of Energy Elnur Soltanov told reporters, AzVision.az reports.
Soltanov stated that goals have been set and programs are being implemented in this direction.
"Work continues jointly with the Ministry of Economy to attract investors. Local investors are a priority for us. However, this cooperation area is also available for foreign investors, and the good news is expected in this regard in the near future," he added.
