"Makkah" newspaper of Saudi Arabia has published an article by the journalist Zayed Al-Fazil who visited Azerbaijan, headlined "Azerbaijan through the eyes of the Arabs".
The author hailed the incredible synthesis of modern architecture and ancient architectural traditions, clean and bright streets and parks in the capital of Azerbaijan, describing Baku as a safe city for tourists.
Pointing out the striking nature of Gabala, the author wrote: "I was fascinated by the amazing cleanliness and tidiness of both Baku and Gabala. You can't see this kind of cleanliness everywhere," he said.
