During the meeting, the sides discussed prospects for future cooperation between the two institutions. They also touched upon issues of conducting the Explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) trainings covering various levels of new knowledge and skills for the Agency instructors by the EUCOM.
The US European Command's proposal to introduce and test new equipment used in demining operations was welcomed by the Agency.
The delegation also visited the Agency's regional centers located in Goygol and Aghdam on September 6-7 and familiarized themselves with the trainings conducted by ANAMA, as well as humanitarian demining operations.
