Baku port can increase loading capacity by over 1.5 times – Azerbaijani President

The Port of Baku can increase its loading capacity by more than 1.5 times from 15 million tons to 25 million tons per year, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said as he addressed a summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states in Samarkand on Friday, AzVision.az reports.

The head of state stressed that Azerbaijan is making an important contribution to the implementation of regional communications projects such as East-West and North-South.
