Kazakhstan changes name of its capital city

Kazakhstan changes name of its capital city

The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym Jomart Tokayev has approved the change of the capital's name, AzVision.az reports citing the presidential decree.

Thus, Nur-Sultan city will now be named Astana, as it used to be called prior to changes in 2019.
