The 16th meeting of the Coordination Council on the sanitary protection of territories of the CIS member states from the import and spread of particularly dangerous infectious diseases has been held in Saint Petersburg, Russian Federation.
Representatives from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and the CIS Executive Committee participated in the meeting.
The meeting of the Coordination Council highlighted the work done in the past period, also focusing on a plan for 2023-2024, and conducting an exchange of information on emergency situations in the field of sanitary-epidemiological safety of the population and the register of experts to collaborate in the emergency zone.
The participants decided to hold the next meeting of the Coordination Council in the fall of 2024.
