Chairman of Caucasus Muslims Office to attend G20 Religion Forum in Indonesia

Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade will pay a visit to Indonesia to attend the G20 Religion Forum (R20) to be held in Indonesia in 2022, on November 2-3, AzVision.az reports.

The R20 summit to be held in Bali, recognized by the Indonesian government as the main official event of the G20 Forum, will serve to create a platform for the leaders of different religions in the world to support shared civilizational values. President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo will address the opening ceremony of the R20 Summit.

The world’s largest Muslim organization, Indonesia’s Nahdlatul Ulama, established the G20 Religion Forum (R20) in order to “help ensure that religion in the 21st century functions as a genuine and dynamic source of solutions, rather than problems.”

Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade will address the event, as well as hold bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the forum.
