Azerbaijan shows its commitment to the peace statement and we need to continue negotiations with Armenia in this direction, said Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at the event dedicated to November 8 - Victory Day at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"Unfortunately, we observe a delay in this process. Armenia does not respond to the issue of normalization, we have not recorded any serious practical measures by the oppositive side. Contrary to the terms of the trilateral declaration, Armenian units have not yet been fully removed from the territories, the mine threat is still relevant, and Armenia has not fully submitted accurate maps. In the summer of 2022, we found out that Armenia had placed landmines around Lachin. This is proof of continued provocation of Armenia", the minister stated.
