This estate in the Chukhur neighborhood of Shusha was built in 1849 with the order of the merchant Gulu Mahammadali oglu. The estate, or indeed its remains, which were subjected to Armenian barbarism during the occupation, are in this state now.

In 1992, during the attack on the city from different directions, the walls of the Haji Gulular palace were blown down, and the building was heavily damaged as a result of the artillery fired by the Armenians from Khankendi side.

There were 46 rooms in the historical monument known as "Haji Gulu Palace". One of their lattice interiors was reflected in the lithography painted by the artist Vasiliy Vereshagi in 1865. It can be assumed that this work will play a major role in the restoration of the interior of the unusual-looking building...
