The scheme is formed as follows: Ruben Vardanyan, a billionaire from Russia, organizes the illegal exploitation of deposits in Karabakh, and Andrey Volkov, the head of the Russian peacekeepers, ensures that these illegal activities are covered up. In a way, peacekeepers have become a veil over environmental terrorism.
Under these conditions, minerals - gold, copper, molybdenum - extracted from Damirli and Gizilbulag deposits were either sold illegally to Iran or were transported to Armenia and then exported to the world market after being processed.
As can be seen, the parties involved in these illegal activities favour the situation remains unchanged.
