Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) released weekly information on demining operations carried out in territories liberated from the Armenian occupation, AzVision.az reports.
On December 12-17, 59 anti-personnel mines, 59 anti-personnel mines, 35 anti-tank mines and 297 unexploded ordnance (UXO) were detected in Tartar, Aghdam, Fuzuli, Lachin, Shusha, Khojavand, Gubadli, Jabrayil and Zangilan.
It was reported that 579 hectares of land were cleared of mines and IEDs.
