The hybrid event brought together representatives of NGOs, “Cross Border Club 3.0” company, chairman of Azerbaijan-Japan Friendship Center, students and teachers of Azerbaijan University of Languages, as well as Japanese businessmen, who were informed about Azerbaijan’s achievements.
The event participants also held exchange of views on development of bilateral relations.
The representative of Japanese company provided insight into the project aimed at establishment of cooperation between Japan’s city of Kawaguchi and Azerbaijan’s Karabakh region, particularly the city of Shusha, saying that this cooperation will contribute to the development of both cities.
Other speakers at the event included Head of “Cross Border Club 3.0” YouTube channel Kazuyasu Ishida, head of Japanese Center of Azerbaijan University of Languages Yashar Ibrahimov and others. They stressed the importance of the development of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
Addressing the event, Chairman of Azerbaijan-Japan Friendship Center Khalil Kalantar informed the participants about Azerbaijan’s ancient history and rich culture, Azerbaijan’s role in transmission of energy to Europe, as well as the large scale restoration and reconstruction works launched by Azerbaijani government in the liberated territories following the Patriotic War.
The participants were also updated about the latest protests of Azerbaijani eco-activists and members of civil society organized on the Lachin-Khankendi road against the ecological terror, which is being committed by Armenia.
