“Armenian side is disrupting the process of negotiations, and I think I know the reasons for that. As for the first thesis about whether or not Armenia has strength and whether the diaspora has an influence on this, I think that there is such an influence, and claiming that someone is preventing that is a very convenient way of shifting responsibility,” said President Ilham Aliyev as he was interviewed by local TV channels.
“Because if the government is responsible, it must answer for its actions. Every country and every leader faces its own challenges, but this cannot be speculated on. This is, as they say, the internal work of the house, everyone should do this work not only by articulating the issue of peace in the daily agenda, but also by convincing the public and working on an actual peace agenda,” the head of state noted.
