Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili confirmed his country's readiness to continue playing the role of a mediator in regulating Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, AzVision.az reports citing the press service of the Georgian Government.
Garibashvili made the remarks during a meeting with the Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Yerevan.
"Discussions are focused on security and challenges in the region and the world. The Prime Minister expressed his readiness to continue playing the role of a mediator between neighboring countries to ensure peace and stability in the region," the Georgian Government said in the release.
Georgia has previously acted as a mediator in the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
