An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 rocked off Indonesia's western province of Bengkulu on Saturday morning, the country's meteorology, climatology and geophysics agency told reporters, AzVision.az reports citing Xinhua.
The quake occurred at 05:41 a.m. Saturday local time with its epicenter located at 55 km southwest of Kaur district and a depth of 18 km under the seabed, the agency reported.
The quake did not have the potential to trigger a tsunami, it added.
