The International Turkic Academy jointly with the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Astana has organized a commemorative event to mark the 31st anniversary of the Khojaly genocide.
A photo exhibition featuring the Khojaly massacre has been launched at the International Turkic Academy.
Azerbaijani Ambassador to Astana Aghalar Atamoghlanov, as well as representatives of Azerbaijani diaspora, embassy staff and members of the academy viewed the exhibition.
Addressing the event, Academician Shahin Mustafayev briefed the event participants on the Khojaly massacre which had been perpetrated by Armenian armed forces.
