A delegation led by Chairman of the Mexico-Azerbaijan inter-parliamentary friendship group of the Chamber of Deputies of the Mexican Congress Alberto Villa Villegas has visited the Alley of Honors to lay a wreath at the tomb of national leader, founder and architect of modern Azerbaijani state Heydar Aliyev.
The Mexican parliamentarians then visited the Alley of Martyrs to commemorate Azerbaijani heroes who gave their lives for the country’s independence and territorial integrity and put flowers at their graves. They also visited the Eternal Flame monument.
The delegation was accompanied by head of the Milli Majlis working group for parliamentary ties with Mexico Jala Aliyeva and other officials.
