The last evacuation of the Azerbaijani citizens together with their close family members, who are foreign citizens, was carried out yesterday to Azerbaijan from Türkiye’s quake-hit area, AzVision.az reports citing the country's Foreign Ministry.
A total of 686 people have been evacuated from the first days of the earthquake.
The relevant governmental institutions undertook all measures to provide all necessary medical, humanitarian and psychological assistance to Azerbaijani citizens and their family members and if necessary, to place those persons in temporary shelter centers.
The fate of two citizens of Azerbaijan is still unknown and their search is ongoing.
