Shahin Mustafayev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, met on Wednesday with Rizvan Gazimagomedov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Dagestan of the Russian Federation.
During the meeting, the Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that within the framework of Azerbaijan-Russia cooperation, Azerbaijan attaches great importance to its relations with various regions of Russia, particularly the Azerbaijan-Dagestan ties, which are rooted in shared historical and cultural values.
The officials praised the successful development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Dagestan in the fields of trade, economy, transport, logistics, industry, agriculture, and humanitarian affairs.
The meeting also included discussions on the implementation of the “Action Plan for the Development of the Main Areas of Cooperation for 2023–2025”, as well as opportunities to further enhance cooperation.
