The meeting saw discussions on political, economic and security situation in the Caspian region, as well as prospects of cooperation in conducting research in these areas and the current situation in the region.
Emphasizing the importance of conducting scientific and analytical research in the Caspian Sea region, the FM noted that Azerbaijan attaches importance to cooperation with think tanks.
Minister Bayramov also expressed confidence that the establishment of close cooperation with think tanks operating in Azerbaijan and the development of relations would contribute to the activities of the Center.
FM Bayramov highlighted the current situation in the region in the post-conflict period, the large-scale restoration and construction works carried out by Azerbaijan in the liberated territories, as well as peacebuilding efforts of the country. The FM also spoke of the ongoing provocations of the Armenian side.
The sides also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
