The ambassador presented to the Speaker a letter of invitation to the special session on the 100th birth anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev to be held in the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The ambassador hailed the high level of political dialogue between the two countries adding that there were fraternal relations between the two countries.
He noted that Morocco supports Azerbaijan`s position in various international organizations, and at the same time, Azerbaijan has the same attitude towards a friendly country, which is an indicator of friendship and mutual trust between the two countries.
Nazim Samadov emphasized that bilateral friendly relations established by the National Leader Heydar Aliyev and King Hassan II of Morocco were successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev and King Mohammed VI.
During the meeting, the pair exchanged views on inter-parliamentary relations, prospects for cooperation in many fields.
Speaking about the friendly relations between the two countries and peoples, the ambassador specially noted the role of inter-parliamentary friendship groups. He said that regular mutual visits of friendship groups would help to enhance parliament`s role in development of the two countries` relations.
