The minister said that they expect the investigation of the crime to be completed soon and the culprits, who ordered it, to be brought to justice. “According to the information provided by the Iranian side, the investigation into the criminal case is still going on, and therefore it is too early to talk about concrete results,” the minister underlined.
"We believe that this incident makes negative impact on the two countries` relations. At the same time, we received several appeals from Iran regarding the restoration of the activities of our diplomatic mission. However, these issues depend on each other, and the Azerbaijani side must be absolutely sure that the criminals and their masterminds will be brought to justice and severely punished. All the guarantees in this regard should be given to the Azerbaijani side not in words, but in deeds," Jeyhun Bayramov emphasized.
