Azerbaijani Ambassador presents his credentials to President of Kenya

Azerbaijani Ambassador to the Republic of Kenya Sultan Hajiyev has presented his credentials to President of Kenya William Ruto.

During the meeting, President William Ruto wished the ambassador success in his diplomatic activities and asked to extend his best wishes to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

Ambassador Sultan Hajiyev conveyed President Ilham Aliyev's greetings and best wishes to the President and the people of Kenya. The diplomat said that he would spare no efforts to contribute to development of bilateral cooperative relations between the two countries.

Describing the opening of the embassy of Azerbaijan in Nairobi as a landmark event, Hajiyev noted that the year 2024 would mark the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Ambassador Sultan Hajiyev expressed his gratitude to President William Ruto for a warm welcome, saying he will convey his greetings to President Ilham Aliyev.
