Armenia, which has committed aggression against Azerbaijan and has held Azerbaijani lands under occupation for almost 30 years, is concerned with the establishment of the Lachin border checkpoint, AzVision.az reports citing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.
According to the ministry, Armenia has lost the opportunity to take steps that aggravate the situation and carry out illegal activities using this road.
The MFA notes that there are appropriate conditions for the transparent, safe and orderly passage of the Armenian residents of Karabakh in both directions, and it is known that hundreds of residents have freely used this road since the establishment of the Lachin border checkpoint.
The purpose of the provocation committed by Armenia on June 15 against the Lachin border checkpoint and Azerbaijani border guards is to ruin the successful work of this checkpoint and prevent its safe and free use.
